Semi-OT: USB Hubs

T'other day when I was in the supermarket looking for near-daylight-color lightbulbs for Lady Rouge (she of the Red Hat), I spied a cheap USB hub. (A USB hub has a power transformer, plugs into one of your USB ports, and provides several USB ports. Kind of like one of those power strips. Sorta.) It seemed like a nice idea, until I looked closely. It was USB version 1.1. Don't be fooled! You should get nothing less than USB version 2!

Better yet, don't buy techie toys in the grocery store....

I bought a USB extension with two ports at the dollar store. I've had no problems...it works great.
