Signatures Plus

Just wanted to report on one of our old favorites,

I did a closing for Signatures Plus on July 28, and still havn't been paid. I have been calling and calling and emailing and emailing, and just told they will send the check in the next check run. I called angry asking for the president last week, and they wouldn't even give me her name, they said the information was too personal. Right. I did get it eventually though.

Re: Dude. You been done wrong, by some of the best.

The latest company stiffing me is Nationwide Doc Prep...

but about SignaturesPlus...

I believe the president's name is Alyson Ben-Yehuda. I have my original fax with the agreement and W-9, etc. and her name is on it. I'm looking over the documents I have in my folder. "Jenise" is someone in Quality Control. Debbie is the sales & marketing manager. I had her cell # but must have through the scrap of paper out.

I have copies of their checks. They were drawn on Bank of America, 20061 Brookhurst St., Huntington Beach, CA 92646. Account name: X Marks the Spot, LLC DBA SignaturesPlus, LLC, 220 Technology Dr., #110, Irvine, CA 92618. Phone # on check 949-679-5800. Account #122000661-07640-07598.

I, too, went through holy hell to get paid. I waited nearly five months for a check for three signings. And then they shorted me $10. When I called, the response was "you made an error." What had happened is my stamp was slightly outside the margin. When contacted the day after they received the docs, I sent a jurat at my expense Fed Exp. "Debbie," who identified herself as the new sales & marketing manager, claimed that I'd been told $10 would be deducted. WRONG. Nothing had been said. I won't repeat the language I used but after calling her and the president choice names - I'd made phone called REPEATEDLY over those months and was given the old "check is in the mail" crap. I told them to never XXXXXXX cross my path again - I didn't want their )#%)(%# business.

We usually work a distance from the signing companies and good faith and trust between us is essential. Those signing businesses seem to pop up here and there and as quickly disappear. Somehow, some state or federal agency has to regulate these companies.

What makes me nervous is if they are willing enough to screw us out of our fees, how safe a repository are they with out W-9s, i.e., SSN #s.... It makes e uncomfortable.

Enjoy your day. Hope I provided some helpful info.

And that's the honest truth! I had to file a BBB complaint to get my money and then I waited till that check cleared before spending any of it!
