hp laser printer P3005 series
After several months of overnights' and sharing a laser printer w/ a graphic artist, I'm now able to INVEST in a good business quality HP laser printer. Ndwa's cost effective comparisons sold me on a HP laser printer. And I have an HP computer. I'm leaning towards the HP P3005 printer series, specifically the P3005d model. Any suggestions or opinions? (the search feature was no help)

A better deal would be the 2430DTN which may still on sale a Office Depot. The P3005 with exact same specs is, imo... a new model name for the 2430 that HP is discontinuing.

May I suggest you look at a Samsung ml2250? The price on this machine is incredible and I believe you'll find it to be quite the workhorse. I have included a link from Cnet on it, if you're interested. I sold off my HP machines and bought 2 of these for less then one of the aforementioned HP. Good luck on whatever you choose.

I have been researching my next buy, and followed your string of messages. So now that you got your machine, have you printed any loan packages with it? How fast do you find it printing and is it reasonably quiet? Is refurbished a good or better way to go compared with new? I appreciate your sharing your experience. Thanks, mb2
