Depnds on YOUR state laws
Some states allow for "fixing" a document and/or the notary certificate, which may or may not allow for using the initial date of the transaction. Some states, such as Florida, forbid the correcting of certificate, period. In FL, every time the notary seal is affixed on a document, it is a NEW notarial act and must follow the procedures outlined in our state statutes for notarizing signatures.
