AMS Notary Signing Co.- Misty

Its been a month now and I still have not been paid. They sent me out rush rush and I did everything they wanted plus some. They promised to pay me in 10 days. Now I am having the hardest time trying to get paid nor response. Any advice? I can't stand begging for my money. So unfair some of these signing companies! I am frustrated!

One time I return a signing to her, because of her 20.00 trip fee. And I will refuse to work
for anyone that have such a low appreciation for your time. So If I go to a signing and
I spend certain amount of time, leaving kids at the daycare and everything, and the LO
messed up the loan, wrong rate, payment, terms, etc. I will have to accept a 20.00 dollar bill?
No, I dont think so, that only covers my gas and car usage, but what about my time?
Her contract or terms are just to her benefit, so if everything went fine, she pays you what
you had agreed upon on, but if something goes wrong she will give just a little bag of peanuts.
Lol

She will pay you. She sounds like a nice lady, but you never know.

In my case everything went very smooth till I received her confirmation letter and the
terms she wants, thats when I call her and let her know that I was cancelling the signing,
because I dont accept her terms, she was very understanding. I will work for her if she
didnt have such a low fee for a trip fee. Besides I dont work for trip fees.

Feb 5 it will be 2 months of not getting paid. I have called her, emailed her, etc. I came through for her....who knows if she will come through for me. Someone told me I should call the mortgage company that she deals with and let them know she is not paying her signers. However I don't want to do that. I just can't be that low. Live and learn.

You don't have to call and say that they are not paying their signers...
I had a problem with a (learned later) no-no company. After many calls and faxes, I finally called the TC and asked if it was funded and when they paid the SS. The SS was in fact paid, so I called SS back and gave him this information. I eventually got paid, but will never take another job from that one.

Thank you for that tip. However yes I did that too, and yes they have been paid. Bottom line it looks like they are just not paying me. I will keep them on my log to not take their signings anymore.....at this point, all I care to do. I am not going to chase around for my money. I am learning a lot though...thats for sure.
