The broker called tonight and said that Argent said I forgot to sign the Patriot Act form. I said fax it over and let me see. Well, I remember this signing (how could I forget a Friday 7am appt) and I specifically remember using PAW's ID form because there was no Patriot Act form in the o/n pkg. I looked in my journal and low and behold, I made a note re: the ID aff and checked the box in my MoJo. This poor borrower got screwed by the first Notary on 2/10 and I was not about to let the guy get screwed again. The loan was supposed to fund today and they are just now getting around telling me I forgot docs? I don't think so. I think I would remember jotting down the # off an Angola passport. LOSERS!
And yes, the passport was stamped by the USA and accompanied by an alien card.
AND...ARGENT slipped in another doc that they somehow lost durring the transaction. The borrower is an atty and said "I signed this already." Duh! I said, yes, I belive you did.
