Acme Notary Won't Pay
I performed two signings for Acme Notary last October 2005 and I've left countless messages and have never received a call back. Now today I called once again to get paid and now their mail box is full and I'm unable to leave another message. This is extremely frustrating when we as notaries go out of our way to accept signings out of our area and do the job we are being paid for, then to find out the company will not pay. I'd like to hear some suggestions for dealing with companies that you can't get a hold of and don't pay.

After all those messages, a last attempt by certified or overnight mail should be made. If still nothing after that, then start reporting them: notarybeware.com, Better Business Bureau, etc. Then start posting on the notary boards so other notaries will stop working for them (once they learn they don't pay.) If all else fails, make sure you claim it as a bad debt on your taxes. My understanding is that any debts that are written off are attributed back to the debtor as income. Not sure how that works with businesses. Good luck!

I have a small claims suit coming up in March, on the 9th at 9:30am
they owe me $1850.00 and we have found through an investigation some interesting info. I will be glad to share this if you if you want to email me.
I am trying to get as many letters from signing agents like you so that it will work as back up to my own evidence. (that is if Brian and Stacee even show up)
Would you and anyone claiming damages please email me with your info and what you are out due to them.
I believe the best anyone can do is get a judgement

Sorry I meant $1585.00
the address mentioned on Riverside is not a home, its a post office
The home that they live in (but do not own) is 33460 Maria Ct Lake Elsinor, CA This is where Stacee was served last week.

I to am taking them to court. My court date is on March 27th. I would like to be cc'ed as many letters as I can also please.
In addition, I just spoke with my congessman's office. They are willing to listen to what I have to say on this. The more letter's I get. Especeilly from notaries in other states. Would be of help. As I am planning on encouraging the congessman to look at this from a RICO act violation perspective.
Please e mail me at: [e-mail address]
