Arizona Drivers Licenses

Did a signing last night for an AZ property
Bwr has AZ license that expires in 2047
Personally, I look the same as I did 41 years ago,
but , unfurtunately, not everyone will be that lucky.

I guess that the state is trying to save money , but in the future, it
could be a challenge to match up a photo with
the person sitting in front of you.
Maybe the dry desert air preserves people
If so , would not want to be a plastic surgeon in AZ
Gotta run, have another busy day

They are rather long lasting. I would venture to say that should many older people drive, many expire before thier ticket to drive does.

I just saw my neice and asked her if I could look at her DL, Expires 2048....

She says the pic is renewed every year or so.

From the AZ Driver's License Manual and Customer Service Guide:

Arizona issues an “extended“ driver license
that does not expire until age 65. However,
your photo and vision screening will need
to be updated every 12 years. Drivers age
60 and over will receive a 5-year license.
Temporary residents such as out-of-state
students and their spouses, or military
personnel and their family members may
apply for a 5-year license regardless of
age.
