CalNotary: Deed of Trust & Request of Notice of Default

I am glad you posted that question and glad for the people that answered it. I am doing my first one tomorrow unlike your signing my is a huge Countrywide set it also inlcudes other forms that I haven't seen before. I have a feeling it's going to be a "bad" signing for the borrower was rude on the phone and I happen to be the second notary going out to see them .

Correct me if I'm wrong but from what I read and what I see in front of me I am just notarizing the 2nd page only right?

TIA

Here's one for you...

I once had a Yuba County Clerk (Northern CA) refuse to record a Deed of Trust & Request for Notice of Default because the Request for Notice of Default was not filled out. She had the borrower cross our "Request of Notice of Default" on page one of the DOT & RND, initial the cross out, and the Clerk crossed out the notorial wording for the Request of Notice of Default. I still only notarize the section following the borrower's signature(s) and no I don't cross out the NRD or it's associated notorial wording section.
