Certify Power of Attorney
Can someone help me out on this one? I'm new on the business = D If I certify a Power of Attorney do I have to stamp it with "Certified a True Copy of the original"? Is it required? I want to know before I purchase the stamp.
Thank you for your time!

"I want to know before I purchase the stamp."
Please tell me you didn't become a notary public just to certify power's of attorney!! LOL
Its hard to post an answer if you don't designate your state.

The answer you seek can be found in the CA handbook young grasshopper. "A notary public can certify copies of powers of attorney." There is also a suggested format included in the handbook. I understand that you are new to the business. Let this be the issue that compels you to get out that handbook and study, study, study. Then when you think you know it study some more. Show those who hire you that you will do the job professionally and accurately.

Re: Flash Notary...
Also Flash you must remember that when wearing a cape you don't need no stinking badges.

You guys have a great PDF file you can download from the CA SOS site with the answer to your question. Also, I couldn't resist....did you read the thread above this one? Your "FlashNotary" name is very fitting. Good luck to you!!!
