Deliverance
I was reading some posts regarding safety, because i accepted a closing which i would never forget. it was down this long, spooky, dirt road, which reminded me of the movie deliverance. in fact, the road was so bad, that at one point i had to get out of my car and remove a mattress that was blocking the way. i proceeded anyway (more dumb then brave) and got to the house, and it was a little old man who looked like he hadnt left his home (or showered) since the days of horse and buggy. but all went fine, he was actually quite nice.

Too funny!!.....
I've been in Roxbury on several occasions! On my third occasion I was acutally stopped by the police and told that I should leave the area.
When I travel in certain cities/areas, I always use the buddy system. Carry pepperspray. This may sound extreme, but belive me, sometimes your gonna need it!
People say that Fitchburg is a horrible city. I disagree. I've only had one strange encounter there, but nothing really drastic.
