Disturbing want ad:
in the Sunday paper...titled "Mortgage Closer" Tele Tech call center seeks experienced closer to coordinate and schedule phone closings with the borrower at home. Responsible for follow up with borrower to insure timely receipt of documents. Minimum of 2 yrs mortgage experience and 1 yr closing experience pref'd. apply in person...yada..yada..yada.
As many problems as we mobile witness closer's have, why does everybody and his brother keep trying to re-invent the wheel and steal our livlihood in the process ?
What the 7734 is this nutty world coming to?

I saw an ad for a SS scheduler
I think it was at monster.com, not sure. They pay these goofballs $12-$18 per hour. Similar requirements as the ad mentioned. Why then, if they require so much knowledge and experience do these people act like they don't know what is going on when we call in with a problem? (Rhetoric ?)

Re: I saw an ad for a SS scheduler
This ad is not for a scheduler...it is for someone to conduct closings by phone, going over the documents with the bwrs...then directing them to have the DOT Notarized at their expense and following up to be certain the bwr overnited the docs back. This could be the quickest way to eliminate the signing agent altogether.
