Fee too Low?
Just looking for some opinions, i guess this is a business decision i have to make on my own however,
I have been getting some work (actually a lot) from a SS, and they only Pay $125. (and thats after negotiation). It seems like they can give me a LOT of work, but is the fee too low? i am leaning toward doing it.

$125 for single docs? I wish I could get that. The going rate here is $50-60...ridiculous.

You don't mention type of loans, or if edocs are included, but there's nothing low about $125 from an SS; run with it if they are a good company.

Brian, does that include edocs, fax backs, faxed documents. You need to how far of a drive you're going to doing as well. As you said, it is a decision you have to make on your own, but you need to have all of the information to make that decision.

Have your bills been getting paid?
Did you check any "no-no" lists? With most ss/tc paying in the $75.00-$115.00 without edocs, I think $125.00 is a good fee and above average. Some companies will run you on a bunch of deals and then burn you on money so watch your receivables and establish a credit limit so your $$$ exposure does not get too large.
Good luck!

Re: Have your bills been getting paid?
Thanks for the advise everyone. I will go with it. It is usually edocs, but i kinda like edocs as opposed to the fed ex guy.

The reason you are receiving that fee is because MA is an attorney state and you're supposed to be working for an attorney.
Are you working for an attorney? Your post sounds as though you are working by yourself.
