Hey cmd_NH ......

Hello,

I read your profile and past posts about your work credentials... very interesting.

If you have a moment, I'd like the hear your opinion of the 'Police Misconduct' section, on the home page, of my website. You can find it at the top in red and blue.

I understand you work for a police department as an administrative assistant. Is their any information you'd add? (Not implying your department is corrupt Smile I believe most police officer's are law-abiding public servants)

Because of your experience working with police, your insight would be greatly apprecited!! Thank you very much.

I don't know about other areas, but here it is my opinion that our P.D. is one of the best! The Chief is an honest, fair, and contributes to this community in a variety of ways. And he expects no less of his staff.

Re: My only response to that is....

I understand that. As I mentioned, I believe most police officers are law-abiding public servants. I was just curious if you knew of resources that talk about police misconduct (thoroughly).

I also figured that with your experience you may be able to elaborate more on addressing the misconduct head-on. But, if your department never had an issue with conduct unbecoming an officer, than obviously you wouldn't know.

Thanks for your quick response.

Re: Hey cmd_NH ......Just curious/

My associates and I volunteer our time for the Police Complaint Center. We investigate police misconduct complaints/allegations regarding (I just copied it for you from my paralegal page):

--Citizen complaint process check: Law Enforcement Agencies are required to document and establish a policy for internally investigating citizen complaints. We will see how an ordinary citizens' complaint would be handled in the absence of authority.

--Racial profiling tests: Do you think an officer or department is engaging in racial profiling? If so, we will secretly test the officer and/or department to see if your accusation is right.
Individual officer conduct tests: A police officer is trained and required to keep his/her cool in almost every situation. If an officer is known to act out when angry, our paralegal investigators will perform a test to see how the officer would respond.

--Advocacy: A paralegal is permitted to assist individuals before government agencies. If you'd like to address your concern to the officers supervisor(s), we will tag along with you and make sure your rights aren't violated.

For an example of how the Police Complaint Center investigates, click here and watch the video, our investigations are similiar in nature: http://cbs4.com/topstories/local_story_033170755.html

But police corruption should be made public, I was once married to what I thought was the most honest wonderful person in the world, a police officer, sadly he was corrupt beyond belief. I was fooled.

Re: Oh God yes! I understand may be conflict of interest..

Anon,

Police corruption should be made public... I agree. It takes a few bad apples to spoil the whole bunch (I don't care what they say...... ooops.. sorry... song stuck in my head now!! Smile LMAO)

Remember Anon: Most Police Officers are law-abiding public servants who take the oath to protect and serve seriously. Sadly, however, exist those officers that think they're "above the law". These tarnished badges make the law-abiding officer's look bad, and creates the assumption that the entire police department, for which he/she works, is corrupt.

If a department has a good procedure set in place to investigate complaints, and/or has a neutral chief, then thier should be no problems within the department. Not all cops are bad. Nor are all police departments corrupt.

Re: Oh God yes! I understand may be conflict of interest..

Oh yes I do agree with you and have great respect for police officers in general, with that said I seriously doubt some form (as small as it may be) of corruption, does exist among every police department. The degree may be the defining line. I guess I may be a bit biassed since I had a dirty cop.

Re: Hey right back at ya...

TitleGalCA:

I initially did not email cmd_NH because I figured everybody posts off topic messages for one another. I did not know that if 'I' happened to post an off topic message that 'I' would get yelled at.

I did not keep the post going. The anon poster from CA asked me legit questions, and I therefore answered them.... NATURALLY!

So I guess the same question could be asked to you: "Why did you post this message instead of emailing me directly?"

I have no problems with anybody on this board. I didn't realize I was singled out and couldn't post like the rest of you.

BTW... it had nothing to do with my website for cripse sake. I'm all over the internet. I don't need business from ordinary notaries. That's asinine!

This is my last post in this message thread about this nonsense. How hard is it to look the other way and not read the posts? I was answering what I thought was legit questions.

Obviously Harry needs to give you another time out. This crap with your involvement in investigating the local police started out with your Jerald Crimson and still goes on today just like the energizer bunny. That is NOT a story about you it is a letter YOU wrote to some cheesy little neighborhood rag. Your name is scattered throughout the last few days like mouse scat and has been escalating. This forum is for adults who conduct a legitimate business and if you can't behave in an adult manner maybe its time you get relegated to the dung heap again: permanently this time.

You are correct. I only wrote the public spirit a public notice to post in the newspaper. Only one article was ever written about me that dealt with police misconduct. It was an article about a Frank Maxant (town selectman) who addressed an issue of possible misconduct. It stated "a young notary public named Korey Humphreys is circualting a petition....."

Other then that, I have no idea! I am not a Jeareld Crimson.

There was a old man sitting on a bench outside the mall.
A young man walked who had spiked hair that was orange, yellow, green and red. The old man just looked at him.

The young man said '' What's the matter old man? Haven't you ever done anything crazy in your life? '' And the old man said ''Well actully I have. I once got drunk and had sex with a parrot. I was just wandering if you were my son.''

Embarrassed? .........

Why would I be? You're not looking at the whole picture................... Their exist three notaries that tend to cause a problem. I haven't been one of them since I re-posted.

If people still slandered me and lied and said I was stalking, harassing, and/or slandering their business practices... then yes... I would be embarrassed and would probably file a lawsuit against the posters to clear my name AND stop posting.

Given that Brenda clearly apologized and admitted that a mistake was made, I see no harm and/or problem. Did I ever post with sockpuppets? Yes I did. When I was getting bashed I created sockpuppets to quite those problem makers. Some people from the past accused me of being a screen name that I was not. I've only used the screen names Harry mentioned in his notice to me (when he posted saying I was violating forum rules).

Did I learn anything from that experience? Yes I did! I learned not to post with sockpuppets. Since then, I have not.

Therefore, in conclusion, should I be embarrassed? No! Those that post the non-sense and dwell on the past should be embarrassed. They're suppose to be public officials of their respected states. It's very disgraceful IMO.

I need to learn to ignore those less fortunate and stop giving into their game. Tomorrow is a new day (well today, tis 1:30 AM) Smile .

THE SADDEST THING OF ALL, HOWEVER, is that when businesses find me here and request services from me, 9 times out of 10 they make a comment about the replies/messages I’ve been getting on this board. They even use the real names of the posters. Yet, my business grows and I’m establishing quite a network for my State (Commonwealth)!! What does that tell yeah?

Four guys went golfing; one went in the clubhouse to pay while the others waited at the first tee. One of the guys says, “I'm so proud of my son. He is a stock broker and he's made enought that he just gave away a huge portfolio.” The next guy said, “I'm so proud of my son. He's a car dealer and he's doing so well, he just gave away a Ferrari.” The third guy says, “I'm so proud of my son. He's got enough money that he just gave away a million-dollar home.”
Just as the third guy fininshes talking, the fourth guy joins them and asks, “What are you guys talking about?'
“Just about how good our sons are doing,” the three men replied. “Well, my son is doing very well,” says the fourth man, “He's a male stripper and just last week he got a huge portfolio, a Ferrari and a million-dollar home.”

I noticed you jumped on me about what I said to Cali. How come you didn't jump on him for what he said about me? If you're going to create an opinion about someone, you should do it through experiences you've had. Not what others exaggerate or tell you to think/feel. Be your own self.

Let me explain it to you as I would to a four year old, so that you may understand; I will NOT be a part of KH's child’s play on this board and I'm not at all surprised that KH has NOT changed one bit.

KH is an attention starved child whose only intent, as I see it, is to disrupt the board and tweak the regulars. If you can't ascertain that, then you really do need to hone your listening, reading and comprehension skills.

I am very far from arrogant nor did I try to put words in anyone's mouth.

I neither will be a part of KH's child's play or anyone's play for that matter. It's why I rarely even respond to such posts. I'm sure ANON's post was not meant towards you, but more for some of the responses that other posters posted with mean and rude comments towards KH.. The post just happened to be under your post. I still agree that it's ok for some posters to state what they want (no matter how vulgar it may be) and it be OK, but when other posters do it (the not so popular posters) they get banged for it.

Now you can think what you want to think about KH, It's your opinion. I for one don't know anything about him other than what I read on this board and it really doesn't matter to me one way or the other what and why he posts. I'm not taking up for him or anyone. I am just stating my opinion just as everyone else does. I am sorry if you think Anon's post was directed at you. If it was, I can honestly say, my post was not. It was directed in general.
