Re: How do I get paid???Can you name the company?

Perhaps you could do the search on them or have you already? If you don't want to list the company on the board send me an e-mail I will be happy to let you know if I have worked for them before and what my experience was. Also are you in CA? I should have mentioned that first.

CAZ signing agents.. in California. I have called and called. I did the signing in December. Most agencies send me a check within a month. This is crazy. They wont return my phone calls.. or my emails. It's weird!

Re: How do I get paid??? - Get used to it

Signing Services & even Mortgage Companies are hardly ever in a rush to pay you. Like you said, you rush to do the work (and do it right) for them but for some reason they do not cut those checks within a reasonable length of time. If you plan on staying in this business you need a lot of patience. I get flustrated regularly especially when someone tells me "we pay within 2 weeks, just invoice us with the return package" And then 2 months later I am calling and emailing and faxing that same invoice, over and over again, after I write "Past Due, Please Remit". However the good companies I deal with really make me appreciate their handling of vendors.

Re: How do I get paid??? - Get used to it

Thank you so much. I dont do signings often to be honest. I thought I would, then got my real estate license. THEN.. another set of "life" issues came up so I have put them both on the backburner. However, once in a while I will accept them. I am an interpreter for the deaf so they call me if they need someone that knows ASL. I try to do those maily for the deaf person, not the mortgage co or the agency. I want the client to feel comfortable knowing someone can communicate with them. This company, CAZ signing agents (cazsigningagents.com) has not even contacted me back. It's really unprofessional. I have done others where they were late, but at least they accepted my calls and emailed me. This place is the pits! Its like they dropped off the face of the earth.. weird!!! Anyway.. thanks for the tip. I might look through this forum and see if I can get some more and do it the right way next time. I'm very "green" at this.. and that's another reason I dont do very many.

Take care... melanie
