I feel cheated by COSTCO.

I went to get some legal paper. And I load a box of 5000 pages but I saw that for one dollar
more I could get the brighter one(92) so I put back the 84 brightness and load the box
with 92 brightness, when I got home and open it up, guess what, its full of 84 brightness!

Im not going return it, its very heavy to go back for just one dollar. If you go to costco, check
or open the box and be sure its the one your paying.

Screw that..... take it back Cal. Was it one dollar more for the whole box or per ream??

It was ONE dollar and some change more for the 92 brightness. No, next time I will have to
open the box before I put in the cart.

I buy all my paper at Costco. They have an excellent price on both letter and legal. I get the
88 brightness from Georgia Pacific in the purple and white box. I have purchased the 92 brightness before and never had a problem. It usually has the band on it so you can not look inside. Thanks for the info. I think I will look from now on though.

Costco's is my favorite place to shop, I'll have to pay more attention next time I purchase paper.

My Costco only carries the 84 brightness. I always check to see if they have the brighter, but my Costco never does. The 84 is so dull, but boy what a great price!

Thanks, this is good to know. How much do they charge for a box at Costco?

I'm thinking it works out to approximately $2.50 per ream, so for a box of 10 reams, it's $25.00 or so.

Okay, I am ready for a red. I just gave the anon poster a red block. I think anons should all be colored red.

Re: I feel cheated by COSTCO. I need to check my receipt

Okay...I changed my rating to back to neutral. If it has remained red (as it appears to me that it has) it is because someone else rated it red, I suppose. Like I said in another post, the sword cuts both ways. Personality ratings will not improve the content of this board. It just causes more dissension.

It must be a packaging problem because I just bought a case

and it said the same thing. I bougt the GP in the blue and white box at $29.99. The box claimed "Now Brighter 92". I opened it up and it was 84 brightness. This puppy was heavy. I am not carrying it back to the store. I'll just open it up there next time.
