Can anyone provide me with feedback on a company called LSI? They are based in CA.

Re: Not necessarily true

They have always met my fee and have paid within 30 days. I have no complaints.

Re: Not necessarily true

I have only done 2 from them and both times they would not budge from the $50 and both times
they went over 30 days, I had to call and send second invoice. My area has 500 notaries within 20 miles
and many that work for $50 so they know they can get it done for that price. I would rather do 2 signings a day at $150 than have to do 6 closings a day to make that kind of money. My base is $125 and they will not agree to that fee.

Re: Not necessarily true

Thanks, that's good to know.

I told them $175 for edocs in my county. They didn't seem to have a problem with it.

Thanks M.

They called me and wanted to put me on thier notary list.

They said they pay within 10 days.

Anybody know if they are really a title company?

Excellent company to work for. Never have a problem with them meeting my fees. Pay very quickly.

I do a lot for LSI, they have not paid me less than $100. They've also paid more for distance.

Here's the real story about LSI. They want to sign you up as a $50. notary and when you tell them your fee, they will counter with "well, we have to call the $50's first and you may lose the signing". I said, that's fine, I'll take the chance. I still get calls, obviously, they've exhausted their search by the time they get to me. However, there are one or two schedulers that have come to know my work and will call me anyway.

I've done work for them & would do them in a heartbeat. Usually small packages (relatively), so the $50, to them, is fair. Not like some other companies that have 200+ page packages...

The only time I didn't get paid was when they switched to requiring background check & other forms completed & I missed the forms. As soon as I sent in the forms, I got paid within days.

In my book, they're good to work with. Not a lot of hand-holding, etc...
