Mistake
I made the mistake of telling the company that called me, it was my first time. They took is as my first time doing this kind of work, how do I correct it?

What are you trying to ask? Is your fee lower because they think you're an inexperienced newbie or did they decide to not give you the loan because they think you're an inexperienced newbie. Can you be more specific?

not exactly sure what the thought. I'm new at the whole thing so i wasn't sure that to say. U told them I was new, that was the wrong thing to do. don't they see our fees?

I think Dawn means her fees listed on NR. Maybe she's had some signings but has not worked for this particular company?
She's worried about saying that she was new, maybe.
================= Dawn, I'd tell the truth. They can see fees on NR if you have it checked on your profile to allow it.

I've had good luck with telling them the truth. When I first started, I fibbed a little and said I done 10, when asked. Now I tell 'em truthfully, that I have done over a hundred. When someone called and wanted me to do a RM, I told them it was my first RM. They said no problem, it's as easy as a refi and we pay $65 for overnight. Well, the turnip truck I rode in on was a couple of years ago, so I didn't do that one!

No, they don't "see your fees". Do you mean to say that you didn't discuss your fee with this company?
Are they still giving you the loan to do? If so, you should call back and find out what they are going to pay you. You can just say that you didn't ask on the initial call what the fee would be. Know ahead of time how much you will accept.
Next time say, "is this a single loan" and "what are you authorized to pay?" and then negotiate from there. Next time don't say this is only your second closing. If asked, say like Rick did that you've done about 10. Act confident and you'll come across as confident.
Good luck!

Reading the different messages on this board is a great starter point. To often we get annoyed when new signing agents ask us simple and basic questions that if using their heads and common sense would be able to be answered. In addition, when asking a question please be exact and precise so that we are all able to know what your question is and can best answer it. Sorry to sound harsh, but this repetitiveness gets old after a while.
Good luck with your signings!
