Morning, Grumble Grumble....

Woke up with a headache.... but had a 9am signing, so I got my tired butt out of bed, got ready and made the drive to my closing, which I had confirmed the previous morning with the borrower.

Pull up to the office where the closing is taking place, walk in, ask for Mr & Mrs. Bwr.... and Mrs. Bwr comes out... "ummmm, why are you here? yesterday afternoon we rescheduled our appointment for 4pm.... didn't they tell you?"

grumble grumble....so home I went, took some aspirin, politely called the Signing service on the west coast, and left a message for them when they get in.

I had a another closing set for 3:30pm, but they were flexible and I've been able to reschedule it...

What a way to start my morning....where was my courtesy reschedule call yesterday?

What a way to start the day. So sorry. I'm still waiting for docs from last night. Wish TC's would get it together. Don't ya just love this job? Try to have a good day.

We are often left out of the loop. Had the same thing last week, however I knew the borrower was cancelling. She was the only one that let me know.

I have started to call as I'm walking out the door to say I have the doc's and am on my way. I hate to show up and look stupid.

In my initial call to BOs, I always give them my cell number in case *anything* changes.

I did the same, and I usually call on the way to the bwr's house, but this bwr was 5 minutes away, so i figured that would be pointless (i was wrong)...

I could've slept in! lol
