Look at top of pdf window. You should be able to reorient the page to vertical position.

It may be that the TC placed the docs wrong. Even if you reorient the page, they may cut off at the end.

If that is the case, your docs are dead in the water and you cannot sign. Consider yourself a statistic of Last Day to Sign blues.

Are they scaned that way? If they have been scaned that way, there is nothing you can do. If not, have you tried the auto rotate option before printing?

The answer is simple: ...

... Choose the Page Handling option that says "Auto-Rotate and Center". Under the Printer Properties menu, choose the Advanced tab, then Paper/Output Paper Size: Legal. Be sure you actually have LEGAL-size paper in the printer, of course!

It seems that companies scan documents sideways these days.

Re: The answer is simple: ...

You shouldn't have to rotate the docs in the PDF viewer for them to print correctly. Adobe Reader is smart enough to understand portrait and landscape modes and will print the docs correctly. However, it will only print the docs as shown on the screen. If the sides, top or bottom is cut off, it will print that way. If the docs are cut off, it is because they were scanned incorrectly. (Not an uncommon problem these days.)

what about font size?????

what about the font size? is that adjustable too? i have had several signings from one co. that said that they needed to be resigned due to font size; yet when i tried to trouble shoot it in adobe, there doesnt seem to be any way to adjust. could that be a scanning thing at the tc/ss as well? and then they pawn it off on me as my mistake? tia....

Re: what about font size?????

If the pages are scanned images, you can't do a thing. WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get). If the pages are properly scanned as a document, then the default fonts included with the PDF file or Adobe and/or your printer should be just fine. Make sure that you DO NOT select the option to download TT fonts as bitmaps as this will screw up the printing. This option is not turned on by default, so if you don't know where to find it, it probably isn't on anyway.

Re: Thanks PAW!

That's exactly what happened..scanned wrong. They sent a new set and everything went fine. Finished the signing at 11:45. Been a stressful week, but a busy one. Seems every signing for this week had issues....EOM no doubt. That's what happens when things get rushed.
