NNA Mail alerts for the NNA convention

Has anyone else been inundated with e-mai alerts from the NNA for their convention? I've gotten three today! I'm about ready to set up a kill file for them!

They're probably a little desperate this year...

so they're bombarding us with reminder emails.

First, it's unlikely that many CA graduates of their notary manufacturing machine are going to trek clear across the country to the East Coast. Additionally, the NNA geniuses scheduled it over the Sunday and Monday of a major holiday weekend, not only impacting many families, but at a time when DC will be jam-packed with tourists. I think their numbers will be way down this year. I'll be at the Indy 500, and you know Victoria Ring won't be back either.

DC was a substitute for New Orleans, but it was pretty poor planning in my view; lots of other cities they could have picked with less grief.

Why complain about it here?

You guys should be picking up the phone and telling the NNA exactly what you think about being slammed by their emails. Maybe if they get enough screaming members on the phone they'll start to reconsider their aggressive marketing tactics.

And maybe monkeys will fly out of my butt. But it's still worth the call IMO.

Agree Roger - at least Vegas offered something to do that was entertaining (and maybe more informative) than the convention.
