New Notary Signing Agent

I just became a notary signing agent, and am nervous about doing my first signing. Who is usually there during the signings, is it just me and the borrowers or is there a realtor and or someone from a loan company. I am so nervous about doing a closing, and looking like I don' tknow what I am doing(which I kind of don't).

Hello:

My friend needs a document notorized. Do you notarize documents? Further adding he is in the hospital and he needs someone to go to the hospital to get the document signed. Please respond

Don't even attempt to close a loan until....

You actually know what you are doing...

This is more of a plea than anything. You could cost a a rate lock to expire due to incorrectly performing your duties, you could cause a loan not to fund on time, costing the Loan officer money...

Do your homework before you even attempt a closing, please?

Try to find someone who will let you go to a few closings with them. Be prepared to offer to pay for their services. Also Read Read Read. and Then Read somemore. What stare are you in.
