Ntldr message revisited...
I got the message last week: Ntldr is missing.
The way it was resolved was to boot with a win xp disk, then say I needed to repair.
After that, I copied
ntldr from the win xp disk to c: ntdetect.com from the win xp disk to c:
I rebooted and ta da, it was fixed.
Just thought I'd share with you guys. It could look really grim to a person who had never come upon this before. Sometimes this message is caused by a non-bootable disk in position where it should not be. Just pop it out and you might have a resolution. However, if not, and yikes, you have the dreaded message when you try to boot up, this might work but BTW, it might not always be so easily resolved. In that case, call your geek buddy. If you don't have a geek buddy...get one, quick!
