OT Flu Season....
Just wanted to warn anyone with little ones that the flu this year is bad. I had to take my two year old to doctor yesterday and by the time he got to see doc he was running 106.3 temp he had already had motrin. We are now on the tylenol then motrin two hours later time table. Needless to say just watch out it is nasty this year.

Sorry to hear about your little one. It seems the flu this year is bad all over the country. I'm a diabetic and receive a flu shot every year. This year the nurse told me it would only give me protection from "some of the flu!" Different strains I guess.

I just switched doctors and found out that the little one should have had a flu shot and he didn't get one. The new doc was not happy at all. Because babies, toddlers and high risk individuals like yourself were supposed to get them first.

I've had my 12 year old home since a week ago Monday. Doc. said he could go back to school on Monday next week. They finally got him on an antibiotic. I haven't had a goodnight sleep in 12 days!!! He is finally better but not well yet. b.

Sorry to hear about your little one. I don't think there is anything worse than having a sick child. They are so helpless. Mine so far haven't had any flu troubles. I take them to the chiro every month and that seems to keep them healthy.

Had to take my sister to the ER the other night, (not flu), we waited for 5 hours for the Dr. There were 34 kids in the ER with flu symptoms/high fevers, by the time we got into see the Dr. that # had grown to 83, all flu symptoms... I was trying really hard to keep away from all of them! Don't know if it worked, but so far so good!
