Let me know what your favorite flavors are, not just icecream but just flavors. I love homemade icecream and have been making it since I was able to turn the crank (now I'm really dating myself) I do have some of the modern gadgets but still, turning the crank is the best way to get icecream and if you have kids they love to participate! I guess its the anticipation or maybe the grain structure but that old crank machine is still the way to go!

Sorry to disappoint you Charles but I went with an electric. But the kids love adding the ice and rock salt. The kids love chocolate and good vanilla for chocolate chip ice cream. For me I adore Butter Pecan and Rocky Road. I'm looking forward to making sorbets and blueberry frozen yogurt.

Raimond it is never to cold for ice cream. I'll sit under a blanket and enjoy ice cream any day of the week. This week the overnight low has averaged 25 degrees. But if you put a bowl of ice cream in front of me you bet I'm gonna scarf it.

My husband wears shorts throught out the year ( winter too) and takes our daughter out to 31 Flavors on the way home he buys me hot chocolate.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream. My favorite flavors are vanilla and coffee!!! YUM!!! Wish I had some recipes to give ya, but I am one of those people that burn popcorn. LOL!!!

I have no recipes for you . But I like Rocky road and Cappucino Ice Creams. YUM!
