OT: cell phones... does anyone have/use a...
Sony Ericsson Z520a or a Cingular LG C1500. I'm not so worried about the available features as much as their durability/construction. Thanks

I have the LG 1500. I like it but the reception isn't as good as my old Motorola.

Yea, I like my current phone but...
it is really cumbersome. It's so durable though and the reception is great. I need something more compact so I am asking around. Thanks for the impute.

Re: OT: I used to use an Ericsson T60 and it still is my
favorite phone so far and I have switched twice. I think their phones are great.

My wife has the LG 1500c which has super tone quality and I like the "increasing" volume on the ringtones. I even got one for my mother-in-law. It's a tad bit bulky, so I bought the Razr. And I really like it. Neither one has any worse "signal" grabbing problems (Cingular) as compared to the older phones we had. The signal strength leaves a lot to be desired around here, no matter what carrier you have.

Thanks all, there are so many options out there
No matter what the season I almost always have my phone in my front or back pocket. If I leave it in my briefcase or purse I will never find it on time to answer it. I need something small and durable.

That's exactly (well, almost exactly) the reason I opted for the Razr. It is small, durable and reliable. It measures (folded) 3.75" x 2", ½" thick and weighs about 3½ ounces. Fits nicely and inconspicuously in a shirt pocket.

I agree with PAW, I also have the Motorola razr hot pink lol...I love to take pics of my daughter and little videos and send them to the relatives. I get a much better reception here in the mountains than I did with my nokia. I just clip it to m briefcase.
