O/T - Just cant seem to concentrate today....

It is really nasty and dreary here in FL today so all of you FL closers be safe today! I am sitting here TRYING to get work done and I cannot seem to concentrate..I am heading to NC next week on vacation and that seems to be all I can think about. We are heading there to hopefully see some snow and from what the weather sites say, it looks like we may...If everyone could please pray for some snow in Maggie Valley, I would greatly appreciate it.. Snow is a whole lot nicer than this nasty, rainy weather that we have been getting today..

Hey no problem as long as you dont mind sitting between the kids....BTW you also have to be able to tolerate the Wiggles for 8-10 hours...(Lord help me)

and for those of you who dont know who THE WIGGLES are

they are four grown men dancing around with an octopus, a dog and captain Feathersword...Darn this is going to be a long ride...I guess thats why we are leaving so early. Hopefully this kids will sleep for four hours or so so that would mean less Wiggles...

Hi Sherry Hope ya have a great vacation. I guess it could be worse........like Barney or even Teletubbies. I knew my kids had watched too much of it when I started singing the songs. LOL

My daughter use to be into the Wiggles and the Doodle Bops (yuck) but now she's into anything Princess. We have every princess movie there is. BTW, she's 3 going on 16. LOL

I here ya! We take a 9 yr old and a 4 yr old up to Chicago twice a year. This year we got the Panasonic double movie screens pkg for the backs of our headrests and the kids were watching DVDs on the Christmas trip up. Awesome invention, just plug it into the cig lighter and instant quiet! Except when trying to decide on what to watch. I know know the entire soundtrack to Nemo and Polar Express.

We just got one too...this one has double screens AND double DVD. So my daughter (the 6 year old) can watch her stuff and my son can watch The Wiggles

We are under T-Storm and Tornado warnings. I'd like to stay in, but have a few closing this afternoon. I hope to be done by 4pm and stay in after that. Doesn't look like a good boating weekend.
