Organizing - Shane/OH
Earlier there was a post about organizing notaries - a day or so ago. If Shane continues to have that much energy and has good ideas on how to do so, I'll throw my secretarial help his way in the future to support him with efforts.
While I am not voting for more government input, I am saying that I'll work with an energetic person who is willing to take something like this on.
Not trying to start a movement! Just want to let Shane know I think he's a good guy to lead such a charge. The NNA is not who we want to do this for us because they are not going to. Shane - you have my seal of approval for what I have seen of you thus far, my friend.

At least he's got new ideas and not afraid to express them!
And, of course, he's cute and all, but so are my sons ages 24-29...In fact, he kinda looks like one of mine. So it's not about being a Prom King Cutey - I think he might be the energetic one to find "voice" for us.

I am all for organizing - if the notaries would organize as a group there would be far fewer ss out there who think they can pay $45 or $50 for a signing with e-docs. So, let me know what I can do - I am great at research (as most of us are) and documentation.

WOW - Organizing....
Alright, you got me kicked into gear. I read Brenda's post as I was on the way out the door to a performance in Dayton, and I spent the majority of the night thinking of ways to begin.
I think the first thing I'll need to do is put together a website, something centrally located for everyone to read/utilize etc.... Then the meetings, marketing, brain storming ideas, and then putting it into action.
Give me some time, but as you noticed, I'm motivated.

count me in
I'll cover the morning shift and I make great coffee =)
I would agree, probably most of us share a lot of the same skills and abilities - and those would be all to our benefit, in the process of organizing. Trouble-shooting, research, compiling data, etc. I have some writing experience, mgmt exp., I get up WAY too early so I have some extra hours to put to good use!
... just thought some of the diverse things I've done in life so far - there's a good idea for a "survery"!

Shane, Keep going. It's a huge undertaking...but if it is never tried, it's not going to happen.
