Other opportunities
I just read the Winter 2006 Issue of NSA Today. Has anyone had any experience as a signing agent in fields other than mortgage loans?

Make yourself available to attorneys who specialize in living trusts. I used to have a business relationship with an attorney who specialized in elder law. She would call me every so ofter to notarize a trust in her office. She explained all the docs and I notarized and witnessed where apppropriate.

Thanks John, good lead. What kind of fee did you receive?

My fees at that time were approx $135-160 per signing. That was about 8 years ago.

Do a search on field inspections, nursing home notarizations, and jail notarizations. Also, if you link your profile, people may call you for general notarizations. I've done a few, a divorce and an adoption from people who found me here.
