Q@uicken Loan

Just did a late call Quicken Loan. There was a page for the Notary to certify the ID, and the sig line had Notary Public under it. There was a statement 'instucting' the Notary to stamp the notary seal there for 'confirmation of the commission'. What do others do there. I ignored it, but I thought I'd ask. Of course, I did sign where indicated.

You can't notarize your own sig.and I don't think you are allowed to just display your stamp either. I attach a note saying it is illegal in my state and have never heard anything back.

I would have stamped it and then crossed through it with a red pen and wrote above it "for demonstration only" It is legal to do it that way here in Kentucky.

I had this happen one time and I took down the information on another sheet of paper, then took it to another notary and had them notarize it for me.
