Rating posts, WOW!
So what if the poster is "unpopular" and gets many negative ratings? What constitutes a large amount of posts?

Sounds like the rating system will be like the movie Revenge Of The Nerds. The "popular" or regular posters will be like the Greek council and vote down the annons (nerds) or newbies.

Or it could go the other way too!
Pretty creative of Harry and it will be interesting to see how it goes. Stuff like this is what makes a website get more hits for sure.

Agreed, I think the "Rate It" thing is kinda dumb with the threat of not being able to post due to your ratings. That means Cali would be the first to go because all of the newbies would hate his posts and god for bid I don't get to read his posts on a daily basis, I would be crushed.
I think it's a fun thing to have but to disable someone from posting because of ratings is a little "overrated".

You know, just when things are calming down and no cheap shots can be made with seeing the poster's ip address feature , the owner comes up with something like this! I wonder if it got too boring with the civility of late??? IMO...just plain silly on a professional forum, this belongs on an aol chat room

And like I said in a post above. Whats to stop those lurking SS's on the board to start rating a poster in a negative fashion just because the don't like what we have to say about their lowballing tactics.

A very good point Lawrence. I just think the whole thing is unnecessary and as for those colors that show up next to the post are a bit to much.
Think I just get on with my day.
Have a great weekend !
