SUPERBOWL!!!!!!!!! Predictions?
I hate the Steelers, so I'm routing on the Seahawks, who I have no opinion on lol. I'm a dolphins fan, so I expect to be in the bowl in 3 years.... grrr
Anyway, I was invited to watch the game by an Loan officer for a company i serve here in Columbus. They will be watching the game with friends in the recruiting room at the Buckeye Stadium..... So, I guess I get to see what the stadium is like, from the inside out, which should be cool.
I just hope i don't burst into flames inside....being a Hurricane and Gator fan!

Sorry Shane, I am on the Steelers side. I do hope you have a great time though. Sounds cool! Guess we will see soon enough. I still have to go buy ingredients for the snacks. We invited some friends over but no one has said yes yet. It might be just the 3 of us. Thats ok.
Have a blast!

Seahawks all the way. Seattle is rocking today with our Seahawks 12th Man energy!! Hopefully by the time the games starts those folks that lost their power due to the wind storm we had yesterday will have their power back so the vibes and energy of the 12th man here in Washington will reach our players across the miles.
Go Seahawks!!!!!

Howz that lawsuit going with Texas A&M for unlawfully using their copyrighted term "The 12th Man"?
hehe

It is acutally on hold until after the game today. Since so many 12th man items are printed up and distributed already, it is going to be interesting to see what happens with this. At one point if Seattle pays a portion of the proceeds to A & M, then we can still use it. Nothing decided yet.

Steelers will win, although I like both teams, I think the Steelers will play a pretty physical game, not to mention the people we're having over are from Pitts.

The winner is...Detroit
No matter who wins the game, Detroit did an amazing job hosting the event. The city looks phenomenal, there's already been a lot of growth in the area, and oh my, what a party. I've been downtown all weekend. The Winter Blast, Taste of Detroit, NFL Experience, the music. And back to back Kid Rock shows. He was off the hook. It was a once in a lifetime weekend.

Re: The winner is...Detroit - Oh YEAH!!
I agree 100% MichiganAl. Detroit put on a show for the football fants of the world. I couldn't believe downtown when I went down their Saturday. It was beautiful. I just hope some of those vendors "STAY". Great event and I am not a Pittsburg fan nor a seahawks but you gotta root for some team so I choose the Steelers because i'm from Detroit and the BUS "jerome bettis" plays for the steelers. They came through with the win. Good game, not great but good.
take care...... go Pistons!

Re: Allison - I Agree
Hi all,
I went down there on Friday afternoon. The weather wasn't real hot (it was raining), but heh there were still loads of people out ice skating !! I have been to Detroit a lot on signings, but not to downtown Detroit, and I agree downtown looked great. Hopefully the feedback across the country will improve Detroit's image.
