Shame on Me!
Duh! I received a call today from Accardi in Central Florida. Asked if I could do a signing tomorrow email docs. Asked my fee. Told her. Said sounded the same as others quoted in my area. Said didn't see a problem. But would get approval from lender and call me back. Fine.
Now this is where I must be dumb as a rock. No call came. But I have a busy day and started to get more calls. (Ya gotta take it as it comes). Anyhow I called back. Got voice mail. Left message stating if meeting my fee was a problem and if they had to get someone else, it was okay, but please call back because I didn't want to run into a schedule problem. No return call. That is not only inconsiderate but it bad business. Guess some people have not heard the one about burning your bridges.
It felt good to get that out. Thanks for letting me vent.

Barb, you can be 90 percent assured that they will not call you back. I will not wait for call backs, nor would I call them back to see if my fee was approved. First come first served and if the time slot is filled by the time they return a call, then they should have accepted my fee the first time. jmo

Thanks for your response. And yes, I can see that. I would like to think when I called I was acting ethically and responsibly giving them the benefit of the doubt. I assumed the SA would call me back and either confirm or offer their regrets. Not! You are right and in the future I will not make a callback. What is they say: Stupidity is doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results.
