Signing, but not dating the 1003

I had a signing this weekend and the lender wanted me to get the borrowers to sign the 1003, but not date it. What do you think? Searched and found plenty of threads about the 1003, but nothing on this subject.

Sometimes there are two 1003 in the package one is predisclosure (which is the original one from when the loan was started) and the final one for the loan to close. They never want the predisclosure dated as they have to have it with the original date. Some companies just send everything at once instead of faxing back and forth or emailing htem and having them mail them or whatever.

I've come across this once before. The reasoning was that they were putting the original sign date in there. I also did one last night that they had the date already inputted on the 1003 they sent over.

Not sure about that. I have never had that in my predisclosures. I would like to know also.
