Solution for Anon posters....Harry

I find it not difficult to assign a numeric sequence after "Anonymous" by use of member's number from beginning to end (i.e. Anonymous1-Anonymous1000). Doing so manual/automatically, I don't think it is hard or time consuming with a simple change to a profile script. To fool proof and keeping things in perspective is to only allow forum alias change maybe once every 3 months or so.

I, like others, don't care who post what only if I can easily comprehend the interaction within a thread.

We all know that some folks post Anonymous for a reason, like embarrassment to a stupid question or for security reasons. I say for security reasons, just don't link to your profile. I personally think everyone should at least post by a first name and state. I also think that some of the handles some of you are coming up with are, well let's just say rather unique.

I think instead of trying to help figure out a problem with the anonymous posters, maybe he needs help with controlling all of the arm chair moderators.

I'll accept your reasoning that posting anon is good for business purposes if you can tell me the identity of Answergirl, who posted right before you. Otherwise it should be blatantly obvious that you can stay anonymous for business purposes, yet still have an identifiable persona on this board.

Re: Solution for Anon posters....It appears to post anon

That is absolutely correct. Call yourself Chikenlips or Booger for all I care. At least we would know whether or not we want to read the content of your postings. It would also separate the different anons from each other when anon isn't chatting with itself. And remember to put your state abreviation in your moniker so that we could answer with state specific responses. Your anonymity would still be protected by doing so.

Re: Solution for Anon posters....To SarahBeth-it's Boogers

Of course I'm correct.....Silly Sarah Beth....if it's posted by Anon, assume it is garbage and know your not going to read it....SILLY. If one anon is chatting with another or chatting with her or him self, again Silly SarahBeth, what do you care???? Regarding questions, I absolutely never ask questions of this board, I can research it myself. And there is no need to place my state because I'm not asking you a question.

I want to comment, but I am unable to. If I ever get over being speechless...the torrent will never stop.
