Today's going to be strange!

Here's a clue for me that today will be a strange day. I get out my "work" checkbook, go online and start taking care of yesterday's transactions. Okay, I have a debit card receipt for gas. I have a receipt for more folders and pens, I have a receipt for lunch, I have 2 coffee receipt, 1 for drycleaning (can you believe what they charge?). I have a deposit, I have a deposit....Sounds good right? Well, I subtracted all of the receipts AND the two deposits. The first deposit was only a $125. but the second deposit made later was for $480. I have been frantically trying to "correct" my checkbook and transfer funds from savings, etc. to keep anything from going wrong -- you know, the dreaded overdraft-- only to realize my mistake after I transfer money. So I transfer the money back into savings. I wonder what the bank chick is thinking? Oh yea, did I mention, I have a nice line of overdraft protection so all of this was not necessary anyway? Yep, today's going to be strange.

Coffee is my best friend in the morning. Too bad I can't go sit on my porch and relax with a cup before the day starts. LOL Too many kids.

LOL I have so many kids I feel like old mother hubbard sometimes. LOL I would love a quiet morning. Just to sit and enjoy my coffee with the hubby sitting beside me watching the sunrise. All cuddled up under a warm blanket my head nestled in his shoulder.....

Time to wuit dreaming and get back to reality.

I hear ya. The only time I get any peace and quite is when I get up at 5am to workout, after that it's all down hill. LOL

Re: Everyone, thanks for the coffee tips and you all can

keep all of those kids you are talking about. I don't have kids, I'd probably lose them.

Enjoy them while you can. Ya blink twice and they're

all grown up. I have 5, my oldest will be 29 next month and the youngest 17 in april. I do enjoy the freedom I have now. No peace and quiet yet, 4 still live at home. BUT there are times I'd give almost anything to cuddle up with my babies. Oh well, I guess thats what the grandkids are for...

Re: Enjoy them while you can. You're so right!

Mine are 23 & 24. I now have a wonderful and chubby grandson to cuddle with and a 3 yr. old granddaughter who thinks she's 25! I love it. And I even miss all of the teenagers going through my fridge, the boyfriends my hubby and I are so glad is not the guy she married, etc. Now that we're alone I don't have yell turn down the music!
