UPDATE... for the curious

I had a nice little talk with the individual that miss used my references. I advised her to the fact that the lender had contacted me and she did indeed admit she was wrong. However, as hollow as the apology seemed, I accepted it and advised that I would no longer accept assignments from them. I also called all my contacts and alerted them to what this company was up to.

You scrolled down before you posted. and your profile names scrolled too. Click before you scroll and your name will stay there. I've done this several times and Cheri (nickname for Cheryl and what everyone calls me) Armentrout comes up when I want it to say Charm

Lawrence,

You had Every right to be upset! Now if any of us ever pulled a stunt like that "Cross your legs, we only have one nail left!" you get my point I'm sure.

SS have that "NO Solicit" clause in everyone of their agreements, God help anyone that tried to take their business.

Oh yes, that nail didn't fly over my head! It was unethical and unprofessional. They took my references and deliberately solicited my contacts. I would never deliberately solicit or market myself off of another, but I have been called unethical because I am an independent agent and operate as such.

Yeah! Easy for them to say. You are a good guy and you ARE running a business. Like it-or-Lump it!
