Up To Date Contact Info for Acme?

Does anybody have an up to date phone for Acme Notary? The 951/678-9887 number is out of service. I accepted two jobs from these people without checking the board. Thanks.

Re: DID YOU GET A CREDIT APPLICATION ....

Riverside Dr. address is a mail box drop. Do a search on them on this board... Their actual address is on Maria Ct. Several notaries across Calif. are taking them to small claims court as well. They disconnected phone number as of today. We are trying very hard to locate another phone to them. Please contact me with any inquiries. My phone is 626 345 1981

Sara

when did you accept these appointments?

I would very much like to know who the lender is for them?

You should contact the lender and tell them what you have read here.
If you do this appointment the chances of payment is not good

Re: Sara

I received a letter from them today stating they will be paying ASAP. I Will Believe it when I get the check in my hands.. and then I will question if it is good or not. They owe me alot of money, and I am taking them to small claims as well.

Do Not Drop your Small Claims Case! This need to be on record and they owe you court cost.
I also received a email saying the same thing. I think this is just to take the heat off. Lets keep it on! this will show other non paying companies. I would like to see this company on the 5:00 News being arrested.
The happy notary

My court date is on the 27th of March in Pasadena, Ca. at 1:30 pm for those interested in coming out.... Glad to have your support there as a friend of the court. And maybe that will weight with the court as well. (Mayo vs Teter) As well, Lisa at SoCal notary has requested that as many people as want to support her sm claims case come and do the same.

Re: Court Date

Hi David,

I will most likely show up to hand them our present if they have not paid by that time.
I want to have the judge see that you are not the only one who has not paid. :-)

Have Lisa email me her infomation

Ronn

Re: Court Date

Morning Ronn,
I tried calling your office yesterday. Spoke with your assistant. Sounded like a level headed guy. Anyway, it will be good to have you there. Lisa is also going to show up to.

DnB

As a rule of thumb that I can see DnB doesnt have a whole lot on SS companies persey. In the other portion of my business, I do have use of DnB, many of the signing companies are in there but as a generic company.
At 19.99 i would venture to say if you investigated each signing agency, it would probably take 3 or 4 years to recover the cost of just Reaserch.
If your serious about it, you can contact DnB and they will work a price plan out for you say a 30 day thing. Needless to say your going to need to have a list ready and make the best use of this time.
My bank offers credit checks with a business account, while they wont go in to detail about them they will tell you Yes or No they have some slow pay.
Again -- I have said it in several earlier post, we pour our souls out to them, they give us an "AGREEMENT" your at thier mercy. Most will not agree to a standard 30days net 10%.
With a Credit Application at least you would have the permission from them to do a Credit background check if you so desired. As it is you have to use several limited sources and make a "crap shoot" desicion as to if you want to "LOAN" them money. And that is exactly what you are doing.
While I find seasoned notary comments a great source of "do they pay", it is all so strickly rumor. BBB will feild complaints but many times those are not completly accurate either. DnB doesnt babysit a business, if thier is a claim against your business you have to provide paperwork to thier board of attorneys to correct any problems that show on your account.
Your best bet on a ss company is go to the Secretary of State pull up thier commission see how long they have been in business, see who the players are.

Re: DnB

I too have another business, I get a bit disgusted with all of my old accounts and I am tempted to use thier collections department.
Ex-hubby also has a few accounts that I am sure he could clear up. (We throw ideas off one another)
I am going to check with my bank about the credit checks.
Thanks for your info, I have learned alot with your posts!

Their Phone is Connected Again!!

As of today, they have reconnected their phone and you are no longer getting the "Mailbox Full" message so you can actually leave a message! I guess it's time that we all start to call them again to demand our payments! I am in CA, I also have a court date set and odly enough I did not receive the email they are sending out that they will be paying me ASAP! As someone mentioned, sounds like they are trying to salvage the notaries that are out of state as they feel it will be hard for them to sue....who knows about their madness!
