WOW!! As the Worm Turns

I just tuned in and am so sorry to see that Brendex Starr has gone on hiatus. I guess she had some stalking “issues”. But I have no doubt she will be back at the investigative desk in no time to rid Notary Bloatary of those nasty stalker(s) once and for all. Comon back Brendex. But never fear, one bad turn brings a good one and low and behold prodigal son Corinthian Humberdink has returned. Turns out we thought he was in Africa on a secret CIA operative mission, when all along he had just tripped on some stupid syntax rendering him amnesic for a while. But he has recovered and has engaged the services of wise old sage Baby Huey to tutor him in spelling and grammar so he won’t make THAT mistake again. All is well that ends well. Welcome back Corinthian. But dark clouds always bring a rainbow, which seems to be the election of the new Notary Czar at the National Bloatary Ball. I guess we are not sure if it will be held in Dubuque, Iowa or Kansas City Kansas. I kind of prefer the Kansas cite myself as we could do a Wizard of Oz theme. Speaking of wizards, I guess there won’t be much competition for that slot as by popular demand Shamus Teacher seems to be a shue in. That’s ok more time to kick up our heels all night. So get your formals and tuxes out of moth balls and join the fun. Oh, and by the way, you dirty DUES PAYING, card carrying anons are not invited. Maybe special dispensation will be made for you to stand behind the ropes of the red carpet but that’s up for vote and you know how that goes. Actually, as we speak our own D. McCarthy Narrowbanks of the op ed page is on that very mission. His hope is to rid your anon faces from the Notary Bloatary planet, kind of like an early Armageddon. Amen to that.
