What a day! Glad I'm home early....

Today started out wonderful. 50 degrees, which is very unusual this time of year. Off to 2 signings I go. On my way to signing 2, the sky opened up with a major thunderstorm with the rain pouring so hard that I couldn't see very well. Made it to the signing on time. Good! Then on the way home the rain turned into snow with unbelievable winds. It was a total whiteout. Pulled over for a few, but then decided I was going to trudge on. Power is out (widespread outages all over the state)...still not on (thank my husband for purchasing a generator). I live on top of a mountain, which at this point, I'm starting to feel like Dorothy, waiting to be swept away to the land of Oz. Now where did I put my red shoes? I will need them to get back home. "There's no place like home."

quit bragging, please. I started with a 7am today and still have three to go. I won't be back home until 10pm or later. Playing the edoc wait game now.

Glad you made it home safe.

I was wishing this morning that I would have more for today, but now I'm very happy I don't. Getting home was a chore. Don't want to venture out again tonight, even to the store which is at the bottom of the hill.
