I have 6 scheduled for today
Where are you geographically James? And have you marketed? If so, keep marketing. If not, now's the time to start. A year ago I was signing the blues, too, about not enough appts. I spent all that down time marketing myself/skills and now some days I can hardly keep up. In some cases I never got the assignments for a couple of months. I also wrote introductory letters and visited nursing homes, hospitals etc. The cash deals helped me pay marketing & listing fees, as well as gas in the car. List your name on as many sites as you can. Sign up with as many SS as you can possibly can. I used to visit other notaries websites, and sometimes there would be a link to a SS, I would apply there, too. Best wishes and good luck

James, what area do you live in? I live in the Palm Springs area and I passed out my cards to mortg and title companies...not a single call. Are they all using signing agencies?

Contact the current companies you work with and just check and see if they have anything in your area. I actually went thru and signed up with some more companies and got a really good client from doing so. Oh and one more thing, market, market, market!!! Good luck.

I went the first 10 days of January with not a single phone call. I also had an extremely slow Nov and Dec. Last week I did 15 closings! and this week I have done 6, Right now, in my area, business seems to be so erratic, it is hard to figure out what is going on. It is hard to be optimistic when your phone is NOT ringing. I did call several ss that have kept me busy to see what was going on. I was told there were no closings in my area, and I believe that was the truth. I hope my phone keeps ringing and yours does too! Hopefully Feb will be a busy month for all of us.

I haven't found anyone who uses it.
