no, you can shop around, but you can't do a signing until you have your tools and of course knowledge of your state's laws. Good luck.

Re: bond, I'm an inveterate shopper and its tough to

do better than Notary Rotary. If you are starting out make sure you check out the Modern Journal of Notarial Acts here. As far as I'm concerned there is none better and there are a lot here who agree with me. It will save you alot of time and keep all your records straight including you mileage.
