new notary information

1. I just passed my notary test and have not received my letter from the state with my request for live scan on fingerprints. I can't get through to the Sec'y of State by phone. How long does it take to receive this form and hard copy letter so I can get my fingerprints and get the process moving along?

2. Does every loan signing class give the 'certified loan signer' certification? Or do I specifically have to ask if it has that certification when I sign up?

Re: Don't know about your first question but....

Read all the posts from the beginning, you'll find a wealth of information...disregarding the "off topic" posts. Click on the orange "Search Button" and type in message # 33325. This will help you.

Your pass letter will contain the live scan instructions, so if you know you passed you should have the live scan instructions as well - did you go online to find out you passed?

I took my renewal test on 2/11 and my pass letter came yesterday. I don't have to do a live scan but the letter mentions it could take up to six weeks to received my commission.
