Accusigning Finally paid.....

I finally got accusigning to pay me. Though it was $25.00 short. I am still debating on how I should handle this. Should I just cut my loss or should I make them pay me the $25.00 plus the late fees they didn't pay? I sent them numerous invoices with the late fee reflected and made plenty of phone calls one of which was from a friend of mine that is a lawyer then got jipped $25.00 on top of that. I am frustrated and not sure if I should let it go or if I should sink my teeth in until they pay me what they owe me still?

Any thought or advice are appreciated. Tia

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I know you have worked very hard trying to get them to pay their debt. Not sure what to tell you about trying to get the other $25.00. It depends on if you feel it is worth your time. Did they say why it was $25 short?

No they did not say why it was $25.00 short. They never even said there was a problem with the signings I did. I will probably just let it go as they are already on my no no list and tack it up to experience.

Hi! I did one signing for them last April. After many calls, faxes and emails, I got a check in August...just like yours... $25 short. I was really angry and immediately called them, I remember it was a Sat. am around 10 here on the East Coast, I woke up the owner's wife at 7 on the West Coast. She sounded very groggy and I thought maybe I should have waited, but, you know how you want to vent right then...it can't wait another minute? lol She said someone would get back to me and after a few hours I called them again. The owner said he didn't have on the invoice that they were edocs. Yeah, right. My invoice that I sent him a dozen times had all of the info on it!
I did get a check about 2 weeks later for $25. I think it's worth bugging them~when you have a spare minute here or there...give them a call. It appears that is their normal way to pay, short the notary $25 and see if they have time to bug us for it!

I think I will do that thanks for letting me know I am not the only one they shorted. It is frustrating.
I was so mad when I saw the check and was spitting nails so to speak. My hubby was laughing so hard at me. I have placed a call to them and was told they would get back to me of course no call back. I am going to call again and again I am thinking I may just have my friend call them again and save myself the headache. Have a great day!!!

Good luck! I had the same reaction you did when I saw the check! I was so angry and I tried to calm myself down thinking...C'mon now...it's only $25 it's not going to change your life or anything! lol But, it was just exaperating to fight so hard to get the darn check and then to have them short change me? I was able to get through to them on a Saturday. Maybe that's the day to call!

Yeah I know the feeling well. I called them at different hours and got all sorts of lines from them. I am going to call them today. Hopefully I will get somewhere with them.

I was just telling my husband about them doing this to you and he reminded me about something else they did...lol I never got docs for the closing on the original date and wasn't able to reach anyone at Accusigning or the Title Co. I called the borrower and explained the situation and he wasn't able to reach anyone on his list, so I figured that was the end of it. Then, Accusiging called me the next day FURIOUS, "Where were you, why didn't you do the closing?" Ummmmm, don't I need some papers for them to sign or something?"

LOL that is typical. They couldn't seem to get me the docs on time was late late for the appt and told them that they needed to ge tme docs sooner if I were to do other signings for them. The second one I did went the same late docs and had to change appt time again. I did two for them in like a matter of three days. Then when I called them about the docs for the second they said just drop them no need to fax anything back and then I got calls from like three or four different people wanting to know why I hadn't faxed anything and where were the docs. That put them on my nono list and then the payment hassle. I can't believe tehy are opening another office in Arizona that just makes me sick. LOL

I can't believe they are opening another office! Who would work for them more than once? They're bound to run out of notaries!

I think with all the new notaries there will always be some one to fall victim to them. I have now learned to do my homework.
