Anyone buy "The Complete Handbook...." from the NNA?
I was wondering if anyone thought "The Complete Handbook of Loan Documents and Transactions" was useful? It's supposed to have examples and explanations of the docs. Is it more useful for newbies only, or can veterans find it helpful as well? TIA.

I don't know about the NNA handbook, but the Signing Registry Training Guide is very helpful. It has loads of information about A-Z in signings. It was worth every penny. JMO

There is so much information you can acquire on-line for free why spend more money? You could also ask on the boards if anyone would like to sell any of their old books. That's if you have Your Heart set on a book of documents. Trust me there are cheapier way's of getting the information you need. Another suggestion! Save documents that have given you problems (Just BLACK-OUT bwr info) then you will have the answers and you can refresh your memory at the same time . That's what I did when I first started. No one can remember everything and you will run into some Very weird things. lol
I think PAW said it, NNA doesn't always give the correct information. That's been my experience as well. The way this business is headed I would only suggest that everyone try to save their (extra) bucks until the "tide turns."
Hope this helps you.

I did buy this handbook and there was some useful tidbits but not enough explanation of documents for $39.00. However, I agree with the last post, to keep docs (but white out names) when odd things occur.
