Boulder, CO Seminar

Anyone attending the NNA/Colorado Notary seminar at the Broker Inn in Boulder on Feb 1?

The NNA rookered me in once -- it's not happening again.

That's too bad that they have such a rep! I was hoping to meet up with some of the CO people.

Brenda,
Unfortunately, they are the ones to blame for *their* rep.

We are close enough to each other, that we need to do lunch one of these days.

I'm up for it. I'm in Broomfield, but it's so easy to get on the toll to Flatirons. Good restaurants out there!

The only time I've been to Flatirons was a couple of years ago when I was invited to eat dinner at the White House and I was trying to find a gown to wear for the event. It was prom season, and while I admit, I wasn't 16 or 17 years old, all I could find was something suitable for working Colfax Avenue.

I guess we could all go and...

ask all the questions about the things the NNA doesn't tell the "recruits". Don't you think the recruits should hear some of the real difficulties that are encountered in the real SA world? LOL! Along with the true version of expenses etc....

Re: I guess we could all go and...

That would be great...but, this is not the seminar they advertise for the new recruits. This is some other thing they have going on in CO right now. But, still, I think I will take the ad packet I received last week and ask if it went to all CO notaries, or just NNA membership notaries.

Re: I 'm sure it went to all Colordo Notaries

and not just NNA members - my husband got two mailings, and he's never been a member of the NNA. Apparently, after two years of not being an NNA member, I got through to them to take me off the mailing list so now they are sending him mine and his.

I never got one...

and I'm a member. Wonder what's up with that?

Re: I never got one...

Cherilyn, I can scan it and email it to you in PDF format if you would like. I was just a little surprised that it came in a packet from the Colorado Notary Assoc. Just let me know if you want me to.
