Claudia,

Look for the Orange Search button on the top of your screen. Click on that and then you can put in key words, like "fees" or "getting started" or "newbie". All of these topics have been discussed over and over, so it will be helpful if you try to find the answers there first instead of asking questions that have been asked here many times before. Also read the message #33325 that had been suggested in an earlier post. Then hit the button that says "First" and start reading until you can't anymore.

Good luck!

Chica, you have got to rewrite your profile pronto! That profile is your mini resume as someone esle mentioned. The way it's reading it is as if it was written for friends not business .

Claudia....

I have to agree with Jenny regarding your profile! A lot of SS and TC's read the profiles on this board and pick who they want to use. Write it like you would an advertisement for your business.
Sounds like you are heading in the right direction, but use the search feature, like someone else said, most of the questions you are asking have been answered over and over again on this board. Good luck!

Re: LaHoma Marchbanks

Hello there, for anyone on the board to give you feedback on your profile you must include your link. There is also a good thread somewhere on the board giving some pointers on building a professional profile, perhaps anyone that knows it can post it.

Another suggestion is checking out the websites or profiles of others but only to get ideas, not to copy them word by word.

Re: LaHoma Marchbanks

Wouldn't it just be easier to answer the question here?

When posting a message, right next to the author name is a box that says "add link to my profile". Just check it before you post the message.

Just maybe I'm willing to share earth-shattering

insights with someone who has extended a kindness in the past. After all if the NNA advertises it someone must be making the 100K a year. I certainly wouldn't want to share that kind of information with the faceless masses Smiley

Re: Just maybe I'm willing to share earth-shattering

Hmmmm, out of all the trade secrets I'm not willing to give up, I'd say linking to the notaryrotary profile is pretty low on the list.

And besides, I really could have been being mean by letting her in on the secret. If she links to her profile, Dennis Broadbooks may deign to speak to her, and whether that's a positive or a negative thing is highly debatable.

It could be worse: some anon could post her profile:) NM
