Im sorry hit the enter key to soon. The reason I am asking this, if you lost or damage your
seal and if you have to wait for a replacement what ever time, you are going to be loosing
signings. Do you have more than one?

Thank you!

I do have two ink seals. However only one is active with the secretary of states office here in WI. The other is under lock and key. If I got into a bind and needed to use the other, I would have to notify the secretary of states office and update their copy. They send a form back with the new seal recorded with their office. I guess you would lose some time. The pitfalls of the job!

I am in WI and have both the impressionseal and ink stamp. The State requires that I have a copy of each on file with them. I rarely use the impression one but do get requests for it now and then

I would think the answer to the question " Can you have more than 2 seals.?" would be....yes you can have as many as you want. Do you need 2 or more would depend on what state you' re in. Some states don't require the embosser at all. I think All states require at least 1 ink stamp. (and maybe 2 in your state.)

Yes, I keep a spare. No need to jump through all kinds of hoops, just keep it secure and use it when you need it.

Yes, you can have more than one seal. I have two and an embosser. I carry both seals with me, locked in my briefcase at all times. If something happens to number 1, I can always pull out number 2.

Call the number below, and request an authorization to manufacture another seal. There is no charge.

NotRot has the Ultimark seals which are of excellent quality and at a reasonable price.

Hope this helps

I currently have an ink seal and an embosser. For my commission renewal I will be purchasing two different sizes of the seal in addition to the embosser.

However, If I do lose a seal and suspect that someone else may have it , I will order a new set with a different border ( we have two to chosse from) in order to tell the difference from the old one and the new one. This of course would include me reporting it lost. I hope I made sense.
