Conn. Notaries

Hi, I hope someone here can help me. You seem like a resourceful bunch!

I am researching the possibility of becoming a mobile signing agent in my area (CT) and it seems like there are a lot of things that say "not advised for notories in CT (and other states as well)..." when I have come across items for sale in terms of training. Is there something about CT that would make it different than other states? I want to make sure before I jump into this.

Thanks!

Go For it!! Its a great business and much need in Ct for notaries. If you need any assistance getting started or need some advise give me a call anytime. (203) 488-1271, Jacquie. I have been a notary doing signings for 5 years in Ct and its a very prosperous business if you treat people right and are respectful of your position.

That's great news! Jacquie, thank you so much for your reply and going by the exchange on your phone number, you're my neighbor! I really appreciate the help. I am working full time now so I'm not sure how or when I'd be able to call during the day. I wouldn't want to disturb you "after hours". If you could drop me an email, that would be great. [e-mail address]

I haven't been liscensed yet but I'm sure when I do, I'll have a ton of questions.

Thanks again!

After "HOURS"

If you want to be successful in this business, you will quickly learn that there is no after hours. This is not a 9 - 5 job. I sure if Jacquie gave you her phone number she is willing to accept calls at least until 8 or 9 p.m. May I also suggest that if you haven't read the thread 33325, please do so. Some of it is mine, but most of it is a complilation of advice for many of the successful SA that post on this board regularly.

Re: After "HOURS"

I also took your advise about the username. Now if I can get this thing to post as my user name, I'll be fine. LOL
