Countrywide photocopies - ShirleyA
Below is an instruction I have for Countrywide split package from a company I work with.
*WE WILL CALL YOU WITH APPROVAL TO RETURN DOCUMENTS.*...My first, I held docs for 3 days and it was hard to supress that "drop-off docs" anxiety.
*ONCE FAXED DOCS APPROVED"
1. Send Original Mtg/Deed, Riders, GD, QD, Est. closing(HUD), and all escrow related docs to the Title Company.
2. Send all other documents with a copy of the original Mortgage/Deed/Riders to Countrywide.

Thanks for your response. I've had those instructions for Countrywide before too, but this time I got:
ORIGINAL SIGNED DEED OF TRUST NOTARIZED ALONG WITH ORIGINAL COPY OF SIGNED HUD NEEDS TO BE SENT TO THE BRANCH LOCATION VIA FED EX ACCOUNT # ABOVE. PLEASE INCLUDE A PHOTOCOPY OF ALL SIGNED LOAN DOCUMENTS AS WELL.
THEN:
PLEASE PHOTOCOPY THE DEED OF TRUST NOTARIZED AND PHOTOCOPY THE ORIGINAL SIGNED HUD AND INCLUDE THOSE PHOTOCOPIED DOCUMENTS IN WITHTHE REST OF THE ORIGINAL SIGNED LOAN DOCUMENTS, AND SEND THAT PACKAGE PRIORITY FED EX OVERNIGHTED TO
After finally getting in touch with the SA, I ended up making a copy of almost the entire package, minus the closing instructions. I've learned now to ask more questions before I accept Countrywide assignments!
As far as sending the package back, the SA said to go ahead. Since there were no faxbacks I wasn't sure what criteria they were going to use to make that decision anyway. So we'll see what happens.
Have a great day. Shirley
